How we handle store visit data.

Kairos measures visits to reconcile them with ad exposure. This page explains what our beacons collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

Principles

What we collect and what we don't

Collected

In-store visit detections through partner consumer apps, keyed on the mobile advertising ID, and campaign exposure logs from your ad platforms and media vendors.

Never collected

No images, no faces, no names, no phone numbers. Kairos does not buy or resell third-party location data.

Reported

Results are reported in aggregate: exposed visitors, coverage, cost per exposed visitor, contribution to revenue. No individual-level reporting.

Retention

Aggregated results are kept for the duration of the contract plus 24 months for year-over-year comparison, then deleted.
Compliance

US and EU frameworks

Kairos operates under GDPR in Europe and complies with the CCPA/CPRA in California. Users of partner apps consent to location sharing in those apps and can opt out at any time through their phone’s advertising settings. A Data Processing Agreement is included in every US contract. Our full Privacy Policy and a technical description of the beacons are available on request.
